Montana Map Package 1 - Sample Package Downloads
No more wasting shooting time knocking on doors and trying to find landowners that are home or are willing to let you hunt.
The planning is done for you. You'll know where the prairie dog towns are and you'll know who's land it is. All you'll have to do is make a few phone calls before your trip to get permission to hunt.
For best overlay visibility - use
Google Earth Version 5.0 (Feb. 2, 2009)
Read this First! Google Earth or Virtual Earth is necessary to use the kmz file that you can download using this button.
Download Google Earth Here. If the map doesn't display like the image shown below check our
Frequently Asked Questions for Graphics Help. The Ownership colors should be transparent (so you can see through to the satellite image of the ground).
If they aren't, your graphics settings in Google Earth may need to be changed (see FAQ). The ownership overlay requires a lot of your computers graphics card. If the image doesn't
display as pictured below, you may need to
update your graphics card driver - PC
(
Mac update instructions) or your
graphics card may be too old to handle this complex image rendering. If this is the case, you can still view the land ownership overlay, but you won't be able to see through
to the satellite image of the ground.
