Let us make a map for you
Montana Mapping and GPS wants to work with you to create the ultimate map for your property. Give us a call at 406-599-1565 and let's discuss how
we can build the map that is right for you or fill out the
Map Request Form below. Out of stater's are welcome to make requests, but
we cannot guarantee the availability of some aspects of the maps.
We use a combination of state GIS (Graphical Information Systems) data and satellite imagery to create the maps. The GPS data we use from state land surveys
is very accurate. The most recent Satellite Photos are used to trace fencelines and roads on your property.
State tax data, well data, and water rights information can also be included if you are interested in the electronic version of the map. Simply select any parcel
on the map to get grazing acres, timber acres, value data, and other data from the Montana Department of Revenue. Or select any well or water right location to
view data from the Department of Natural Resources such as depth, maximum flow, type of use, etc. Any of this data can be combined into a spreadsheet or document
that is customized for your record keeping needs.
If you like to use a handheld or vehicle GPS device when you are out on the ranch, we can create tracks and points to load into your GPS from any feature on the map.
Please call or
email me if you would like to try an example map in Google Earth, or some example data in your GPS unit.
